South Kam Students Need Your Vote!

Posted On Thursday May 26, 2022

Your VOTE can make a difference! SKSS students are part of the Kamloops Hybrid Interact Club (KHIC), a group of youth which has been selected as one of 15 finalists for the David Suzuki Foundation "Future Ground Prize!" Their Kamloops Community Forest project, which will create a “natural firebreak,” is being highlighted, among other youth-led initiatives, for moving us toward a better and more livable future. The "People's Choice Prize" VOTING period is on NOW, until June 13th. This is your chance to show support for these young changemakers as they strive to reach their goal (they could receive $2500 for their project)!

To VOTE, please go to:

Also, for taking part in the “People’s Choice” voting, your name will be added to a prize draw for one of two “prize packs” which include a National Parks Pass!

Please share this opportunity to vote with everyone you know.  The chance to win a Parks Pass will only be for Canadian participants, but anyone in the world can vote!
