Parent Engagement Session: Education and Skill Training Program (ESTR)

In this session, you will learn about Adult Special Education:
- Education and Skill Training (ESTR) is an inclusive post-secondary program at Thompson Rivers University that has a long and positive history in the community dating back to when the institution was a community college. It is an employability program for young adults who are neurodivergent.
- ESTR has three certificates that include Career Exploration, Kitchen Assistant, and Retail Assistant. We have one intake per year, and students attend the program for twenty hours per week from September to May.
