Beginning on March 1st, 2010 parents from outside of the SKSS catchment area may request a transfer to South Kamloops Secondary for September of 2010.  The transfer request must be submitted in writing using the SKSS Transfer Form (available on the SKSS Website) to the SKSS Office, or emailed directly to the Principal, Mr. Birk, at cbirk@sd73.bc.ca .  If you are emailing a request for transfer, please make the subject of your email "Transfer to SKSS for Sept. 2010".  

All transfer requests will be placed on a waitlist for September.  No requests will be added to the waitlist prior to March 1st. Please note that requests do not guarantee a placement at SKSS.  Requests will be processed in accordance with School District Policy 300.1.  As well, confirmation of a successful transfer to SKSS will not be given prior to Friday, September 3rd, 2010 so that we may service students within the SKSS catchment area first. Thanks for your interest in SKSS!

Final report cards will be available for pick up on  Tuesday, June 29th. 

• Report cards NOT available for earlier distribution
• Go to lower campus gym 9:00am - 12:00pm
• Outstanding books & fees should be cleared up by Tuesday
• Students unable to attend on the 29th may bring a self-addressed envelope (9x12) and $2.00 to have it mailed home
• All report cards will be available at the lower campus office until July 9th
• Unclaimed report cards will not be mailed home.  They will be available at the lower campus office in September.

On Wednesday, June 16th and Thursday, June 17th we will have double blocks.  Attendance is required by all students on these days and buses will run at their regularly scheduled times.  The bell schedule this Wednesday & Thursday will be as follows:

Wednesday, June 16th (EE FF) - Thursday, June 17th (GG HH)

1st block - 9:15 to 11:30 (warning bell 9:05)

Lunch - 11:30 to 12:30

2nd block - 12:30 to 2:45 (warning bell 12:20)
